Attractions
Covering an area of more than 1,000 mu, Egret Lake is mainly composed of Egret Island and 1,000 mu of lotus. More than 10,000 tree species that are suitable for egrets, such as Chinese tallow, oriental arborvitae and willow, are planted on Egret Island, which makes it an important habitat for egrets and other birds in the scenic area. The 1,000 mu of lotuses on Egret Lake are dominated by Flowering Lotus and Seedy Lotus. In the midsummer, thousands of mu of lotuses are in full bloom, with fragrance all over the garden. Boating in the lotus pond, you will see a poetic and picturesque scene of “gathering lotuses in the South Pond in autumn, and the lotuses grow taller than you”.
